Formed and registered in 2022 as an independent music publisher, Perfect Note Music Publishing aims to bridge the gap between music creators especially in Africa and their publishing royalties. Our aim is to ensure that songwriters and artistes are empowered and represented to collect the royalties they are owed.
Mark Darlington Osae, known professionally as Mark Darlington aka Black Kulcha, is a British/Ghanaian producer/songwriter/composer/music executive.
He has been a management member of 2015 UK X-Factor runners-up and International Afropop stars Reggie N Bollie, and an Academy Member of the Ghana Music Awards UK. He is also co-founder and currently Chairman of the Ghana Music Alliance, an independent musicians’ organisation with the goal and vision to educate, support, represent and advocate for change within the Ghana Music Industry.
He has worked on several music projects for many Ghanaian artistes like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kontihene, Sonni Balli, Lucky Mensah, Obrafour, Iwan, Barima Sidney, Kwasi Pee, Reggie N Bollie, Kofi Nit, Kobby Wutah, Skrewfaze, Deeba, Ras Kuuku, and many other artistes around the world (East Africa, Jamaica, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, etc). Mark Darlington has collaborated on projects with celebrated Ghanaian producers like Zapp Mallet, Kaywa, Jay Q, etc. He has produced several radio jingles and DJ promos for various institutions, businesses, churches and DJs in the UK.
He has five albums/EPs to his credit, with two nominations as a producer (Bass Awards 2014 & GMA UK 2017). He runs an independent record label called Black Kulcha Music and recently started a music publishing company called ‘Perfect Note Publishing,’ to help plug the gap in music publishing in Ghana.
